I had the honor of shooting the Eell’s surprise anniversary party in Rexford. The party was a surprise for Marilyn while her family and husband waited patiently for her back home at the farm. Needless to say, she was surprised when she was greeted by family and friends. Congrats
One of our good friends visited us the other week and we got a chance to meet their son for the first time. Being a photographer, I couldn’t help taking some photos! Look at how blue his eyes are!
The weather was a little dicey this afternoon and there were fears of canceling today’s shoot, but we forged ahead, gave it a shot (no pun intended!) and everything turned out great! Ava gave it all she had, although a bag of candy helped her stay focused throughout the shoot! Courtney and Billy were awesome to work with and I’m glad I was able to give them some great photos!
I think she’s saying…..”you want me to do what?!”
What a fun day of shooting! Nicol and Jimmy were a great couple to work with, they made my job easy. After waiting out the rain for a little bit, we jumped in and got some awesome images. Thanks Nicole and Jimmy for allowing me to capture your engagement photos, you are such a great couple. More to come!
So my bags are packed, batteries are charged and now I’m ready for today’s engagement shoot! The skies look great for it too. Pictures to come!

Well I did it, I purchased Canon’s latest flash. I’ll spare you all of the nerdy things that make this flash awesome! Just know that it is amazing!
